Prototype: Freight train consisting of a diesel locomotive, a sliding wall boxcar loaded with a transport box, and an auto transport car with two autos.

Model: The locomotive has a battery-powered drive and a magnetic coupler on the rear end. The motor, rechargeable battery, and all of the electronics are designed to be inaccessible for children. The locomotive can be recharged with the USB charging cable included with the set. The locomotive has 3 speed levels in both forward and reverse, 3 sound functions, and triple headlights that can be controlled with the Märklin Power Control Stick designed for children. The sliding wall boxcar and auto transport car have magnetic couplers. The sliding wall boxcar can be opened and loaded with the transport box, including automobile wheels included with the car. A fixed metal part in the transport box enables magnetic loading and unloading when used with the 44347 loading/unloading add-on set. The auto transport car has a folding loading ramp at one end of the car. Two autos are included as a load. Train length approximately 48 cm / 18-7/8". Contents: The set has 14 sections of curved plastic track, 12 sections of straight plastic track, 1 left turnout, 1 right turnout, and a wireless easy-to-use Märklin Power Control Stick. A USB charging cable for the locomotive and 2 each AAA batteries for the controller are included with this set. There is a sheet of stickers to decorate the train. This set can be expanded with the plastic track from the Märklin my world assortment.
